MEET VIC WILLIAMS
I am an author, speaker and coach based in Devon in the South West of England. I was born a raised in South Africa mainly around the Durban area and spent an incredibly fulfilling 6+ years in the military.
I always knew I was different. I thought differently from other kids in every class at school. I struggled to read, particularly in public, had challenges with spelling and could never get my head around grammar. In school, I was thought of by most teachers as stupid, lazy, an idiot and, according to one report card, unintelligent.
And while all of these things were difficult to deal with, it sparked in me a desire to understand why, which led to an almost insatiable quest for knowledge which would empower me. It was only with the advent of the internet, access to research papers and two diagnoses, that I was able to put it all together and understand.
The two diagnoses were Dyslexia at the age of 48 and ADHD at the age of 53. These were days of incredible empowerment and become the turning points for me. They also became the days which led to deeper learning, greater understanding and a desire to share this knowledge with other entrepreneurs.
